C’est l’histoire d’un savant m\u00e9lange d’\u00e9pices que l’on ach\u00e8te en pharmacie ! Oui, oui, en pharmacie et non en \u00e9picerie fine. Je l’ai trouv\u00e9 \u00e0 la pharmacie de Port-Louis<\/a>, dans le Morbihan, cit\u00e9 maritime riche en patrimoine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Kari Gosse a \u00e9t\u00e9 concoct\u00e9 par Monsieur Gosse, un pharmacien apothicaire lorientais du 19\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, qui f\u00fbt fort inspir\u00e9 par l’histoire de la Compagnie des Indes. En effet, le port de Lorient fut le premier de France \u00e0 voir d\u00e9barquer le curry dans ses cargaisons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce m\u00e9lange d’inspiration indienne, typique du Morbihan, se compose de poivre, de cannelle, de girofle, de curcuma, de piment rouge et de gingembre. Son auteur ayant d\u00e9pos\u00e9 un brevet pour sa composition, c’est aujourd’hui son descendant, Mr Ernest Pou\u00ebzat, qui le fabrique et le distribue dans quelques pharmacies poss\u00e9dant le droit \u00e0 la vente dans le Morbihan et dans le Finist\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce cari lorientais mijote dans les marmites bretonnes pour pimenter l\u00e9g\u00e8rement homards, langoustines, moules ou bien d’autres mets de crustac\u00e9s et de poissons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deux si\u00e8cles plus tard, le Kari gosse fait parti du patrimoine gastronomique lorientais et assaisonne toujours les bonnes recettes. Bravo !<\/p>\n\n\n\n
